If You Want Your Photos In Time for the Holidays...
Believe it or not, the holidays are fast approaching! If you want to do a beauty session and have your photos in time, this post will give you some important dates and information.
As much as I preach that your beauty session photos are a gift to yourself, and NOT someone else, I know that a lot of people still want to give their photos to a significant other. This is especially true around the holidays.
It’s CRAZY to think that we’re entering the holiday season so soon. I KNOW I’m not the only one who still feels like most of this year has been completely surreal…so the fact that I’m even writing about the holidays is throwing me for a loop right now!
I wanted to make an official blog post that will break down the holiday schedule so that IF you want to have your photos ordered and arrived in time for Christmas or Valentine’s Day, you know when you need to book your session.
And to make things a little crazier, I have some news for you…
I’m having baby number 3 around late October or early November!
Surprise!
This means that we’re also working around this baby’s arrival and my maternity leave, so time is of the essence!
Let’s break this down:
If you want your photos and albums, prints, or any other display products to be in your hands in time for Christmas, your order must be placed paid in full by November 16th.*
Anything that takes place after this date cannot be guaranteed to arrive in time.
If you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day gift, you must have your order placed and paid in full by January 4th.*
When to schedule your session
The short answer: RIGHT NOW!
As of the posting of this blog, I’m having a baby in about two months, and I’ll take several weeks off afterward.
Your photos and display products can take up to six weeks to come in.*
Plus, you know, the world is turned upside down right now, so there’s that, too.
If your session has to be rescheduled due to the baby’s arrival, you’ll receive a $100 credit toward your product order.
The studio is also closed for part of December when we hold The Santa Experience.
